Her ancestors can be traced back to the year 1650 and form a famous Phanariote family (members of the aristocratic minority at the Bosphorus), the Economides.When Floria had finished her classical education,  she became First Violinist with the Philharmonic Orchestra.Floria herself is a genre-crosser who draws no distinction between classical music and pop or electronica. The result can be described as propulsive world music including modern groove-rhythm and a striking sound of violin.
